Principal Marketing Analyst - Vanessa Chen
Prior to attending Wesleyan University, Vanessa completed a case study with Old Navy Corporation on Corporate Social Responsibility. Through this project, Vanessa learned about the efforts that corporations employ to become socially involved. Since presenting this case study, Vanessa strives to create her own impact on the community. Her efforts are displayed when she accumulated over 1000 hours in community service hours across the span of four years in local organizations and public schools.
At Wesleyan, Vanessa continues to impact her community. She is a proud member of the Germinal Fund, a non-profit organization that brings free consulting and microfinance services to the local community. Vanessa’s community engagement extends to several initiatives that she pioneered. She is an instructor in a student led university course and she is the founder of Women in Investing, a club that teaches women about finance. Vanessa's community engagement and her leadership experience make her a vital member of the team.
Vanessa loves playing the Ruan, listening to TED talks, reading the news, learning about environmental issues, and sharing lame jokes. She is currently a junior at Wesleyan University.
